UPDATE Oct. 2022 — For publishing and purchasing information, please consider becoming part of our email list. Send your email address to me at ridingfullcircle@gmail.com to receive (very seldom) emails and updates on the Riding Full Circle book. Thanks!
PS — No, the book isn’t done yet. However, I’ve finished the rough draft and am now in the editing stage before I’ll hand it over to beta readers. Yay!
Writing a book about 708 days of traveling through 40 countries around the world is harder than I thought, but it’s coming, I promise. There’s no way I’d do as much work as I have done over the past four years writing this baby, and not publish it.
I’ve been part of a writing/critiquing group for the past two years, helping me fine-tune what should stay in the book, and what should be left out. Still, I have thousands of words, though what to get rid of? I don’t want to leave out the time Dave had to strip down to his underwear in a grocery store parking lot to find his keys, or when an African policeman told me I needed to get pregnant soon because I was getting too old. I’d hate for you all to miss out on when I blew my front forks hitting a pothole on a bridge deck, or when Dave’s rear tire exploded on a Russian highway.
This is all stuff you want to know, right? So you can see my dilemma in editing! This, really, is what’s causing the dallying delay, but I can’t wait to bring the Riding Full Circle book to you soon(ish).
Please stay tuned and be patient 🙂 Some of you have even paid a deposit—I haven’t forgotten!
I will keep this post updated until the book is ready, so you can share in its progress.

I am patiently waiting for my copy, dear sister. I know it will be worth the wait and thanks for reminder of some of the highlights.
Wishing you continued God speed:)
Thanks, sis!
Waiting patiently here too as I know this will be so worth the wait. I know there are many choice bits you left out – when you shared your news with us as you travelled across this world of ours – to save our fears. I will look forward to reading some of those hair raising adventures when the book is done.
Yes, there were a ‘few’ events we left out, and saved specially for the book (and for our parents’ sanity ;0)
This is so exciting, Heather!!!! I will be one of the first to buy your book. Perhaps a trilogy?
HURRY UP! 🙂
Thanks, Gillian! There may be more than one book, yes 🙂
