Dave’s Ride on the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route (WABDR)

In Aug, Dave rode the WABDR in a solo attempt to complete some sections we’d missed out on the year before. As you can see in some of the photos the fires were bad enough to stop him in some areas and he wasn’t able to complete the whole route for the second time. This is a good lesson from right here at home before we leave on our adventure around the world—never expect to get where you might assume you were going! Looks like we’ll have to wait until we get back to add this one to the list.
